The Book of Mormon contains writings of ancient prophets who lived on the American continent, beginning about six hundred years before the birth of Jesus Christ. The book is another testament of Jesus Christ, showing how his gospel was taught and lived on the American continent before and after his birth.
The Book of Mormon was written on metal plates, and hidden by Moroni, the last of the Nephite prophets.
